Perhaps the female market for blonde hair dye has at least something to do with this misconception, in addition to the fact that so many people immediately associate blonde and blue eyes as automatically complementing each other?
I would guess that the percentage of Americans (as well as other nationals) who naturally possess the natural blonde hair/blue eyes combination are an even smaller percentage, but people nevertheless seem to view this combination of features as being much more common here than it actually is. with naturally blonde hair is roughly 12%, and the percentage of Americans with blue eyes is about 17%. Blonde hair and blue eyes are, as I recall, very slim minority features in the global picture, especially if somone has blue eyes in addition to having naturally blonde hair.ĭo I think, for example, that Americans admire blue eyes and blonde hair?
